They were so fast and helpful and gentle with my chinchilla Chancellor and helped us remove his fur ring and put mut my mind at ease that I didn't hurt him when I had tried to do it myself! I can't express how much they saved me tonight from a huge downward spiral and I will be forever grateful for them and that this place exists!

Incredible experience, our cat was diagnosed with a rare illness very quickly. Our regular vet was super impressed with their record keeping, reception, and care. We were also triaged instantly when we came in and were allowed to be with our cat through every scan, bloodwork, etc. I specifically want to thank Dr Lindsey Johnstone who probably saved our cat’s life. She explained everything to us and made it possible for us to treat him at home to minimize his stress.

if I ever have to use an urgent care for my dog again it will ONLY be VEG in Cincinnati. The staff was more than friendly and kind and they made my dog and myself feel safe and cared for. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with warm smiles and most importantly a sense of urgency to diagnose and care for my dog.

I will never be able to thank the staff at VEG ER enough for the kindness and compassion they offered my family during one of our most difficult times. Our dog passed away unexpectedly while on our way to VEG ER. When we arrived, the staff immediately started working on her and confirmed she was gone. Then, within seconds, they had us in a private room to discuss our options for next steps and spend time with our girl while we processed everything. They were thorough and attentive. We never felt rushed, which those who have experienced this type of loss know how valuable that is. Once we decided on next steps, the staff offered us keepsakes free of charge to take with us that we will treasure forever. This was my first experience at a veterinary ER. Going into it, I assumed monetary gain would be their biggest priority, and that may be the case at some places but not VEG ER. They truly care about the people and animals that walk through their doors, and I’ll always be grateful for everything they did for us. If your pet needs emergency services, go to VEG ER. I can’t tell you it’s going to be cheap or quick, but I can guarantee that no matter the outcome, you will leave feeling well cared for.

I can't say enough about this facility. I was there with my cat on July 17 during the storms. My cat is semi-feral and the staff were so kind and patient with her. She received excellent care and all services were reviewed and estimated prior to being performed so I knew what I was getting into. Not only that, but 2 cars were stuck in the flooded Madison road; one had the people sitting on the roof of their SUV to escape the rushing water. When they were rescued, the receptionist went out and invited them into the clinic. They were provided towels, blankets, snacks and water. Not only does this staff care for the animals they are great members of the community.
